Well last week I finally got my 95 RT/10 over to Larry at Macedo MotorSports for a base line dyno. Larry checked the car out and then ran three dyno runs with cool down periods between. Each run got stronger which was nice to see. The only mods I have are smooth intake tubes, K&N filters, Belanger cat backs. and 3.73 gear. Stock headers and catalytic converters still in place.
Then run results were as follows:
01. 368.63 hp and 431.04 ft/lbs torque
02. 374.51 hp and 443.52 ft/lbs torque
03. 376.29 hp and 445.02 ft/lbs torque
I was please with the results but would like to know how this compares with comparably equipped Gen I RT/10's.
After discussing mods with Larry I think I will be adding only Belanger headers and removing the cats. If too loud I will be installing hi-flo cats.
Both Larry and Scott at MMS treated the viper and me great and it's nice to have a shop like this in my backyard! Thanks again Larry.
