95 viper exhaust cover

i just purchased my 95 viper this last weekend and the passanger side exhaust cover has what looks like rust bubles on it but i am told they are alluminum. is there a repair method that works well for this?

Yes, do some searching. The only right way to do it is to strip them and find someone really, really good that will cut out the corrosion and weld up the issues. It takes someone good. The wrong way is to fill it in and repaint and have the same problem in a few years.

Don't reuse the rivits to hold in insulation in. Use very hi temp sealant.

If you drive in the rain, find a way to dry out the inside of the sill afterwards. In Gen1's the insulation gets wet and everything is wet on the inside. Corrosion forms around the rivit holes and any spot it can on aluminum.
