Many on this Forum have had the opportunity to meet Aaron Abel at various Viper Events over the past years and those that knew him found a human being with an indominateble spirit. Others , who did not meet Aaron, did read his remarkable story, in Viper magazine, about his love for the Viper and how his determination to have one led him on the adventure to not just make one automatic Snake, but to finally complete the Viper of his dreams. Though an accident as a young man left Aaron without a left arm or leg, he seemed to find this not as a disability, but as a reason to prove he could still accomplish whatever he set his mind to. From graphic design, to a professional DJ service , to an avid hunting hobby ( he bagged numerous big game animals in Africa firing his rifle with only his right arm to aim with), Aaron was an example to his many friends of the true can do spirit of human endeavor. Though his passing was very unexpected and somewhat unexplained, alot of us want to give back to his memory and help those that he cared for. One of these areas that Aaron volunteered his time was at Camp Quality, a free week long camp for cancer stricken children , where they could enjoy a fun, stress free enviroment, while still under full medical supervision. This also gave the children's caregivers a break , knowing the kids were in very caring hands. Aaron would do face painting, DJ parties, and even brought out his portable haunted house with his business partner. As an example to difficulties in life, Aaron was a shining example to these children that one can overcome tremendous obstacles . His humor and caring nature was very evident to those young faces he came in contact with.

We think Camp Quality would be a fitting memorial to Aaron, and it is a fitting way for many of us to give back to a wonderful friend, who was so giving , caring and humorous , though life was not as easy for him --- yet, in his presence , even for a short period, you realized he had no real disabilities in life , only in other's perception.

If you wish to contribute to our friend and fellow Viper fanatic's memorial please make a check to;

Thank you Bill for this suggestion. It sounds like a great way to honor Aaron's memory.
