So recently, I broke both hood latch strikers. Luckily I was able to find 2 used one and 1 new one from dealer in Cali.
I took my broken ones to my buddy who has presses, benders and annealing capabilities. He said, this is an easy part for him to reproduce. I'm curious if there is a need to make some of these. He would need to figure out his break even point if we were to offer them at $50/ea.
