I have a 2000 GTS and I noticed that when you step on gas, let's say more than 50%, the AC or the heater will stop working meaning no more air blow through the vent.

I could understand that the AC cluch is de-activated to gain some HP, but the AC/heater blower?

Normal condition, however, a vacuum resovoir could be added to supply vacuum to the HVAC diverter actuator during low vacuum (>50% throttle) operation. This would (greatly) extend the time until a change in air flow into the passenger compartment would be evidenced.

Again, a normal operating condition.
