Aftermarket Exhaust Install?

Just purchased a used system from another viper owner exhaust was purchased by him from vipersbyelite, the welds look very sloppy and flaking! Headers look good!Powder coated, is this normal for exhaust welds to look this bad! Exhaust was only on for 1 year! Does anyone have any experience with this system!! No cats, no muffler in this system, Is this correct!! Please HELP! Any secrets to installing exhaust and does anyone recommend anything before I install this system!! Thanks, George

George, no mufflers anywhere in the system will be deafening, although some folks don't mint that!

Does your state sniff for emissions?
No cats will produce a rotten egg odor, and may set off a "check engine light". There have been cases of flames shooting out the tailpipe by going catless too.....cool!!

There have been many "stories" of folks that had some issues with Scott of Elite, sorry I can't give you any specifics, maybe someone will chime in.

All of the headers that I have ever owned looked like pieces of art with NO weld spatter.
