If you are worried about body damage, I would seriously question whether or not you should engage in any performance related activity at all. Sure stuff happens but that simply cannot be a preeminent thought which may evolve into a self-fufilling prophecy.

Us racers have a saying about taking a car on a race track.

If you can't afford financialy and sentimentaly,to crash and write off your car, don't take it to the track.
S*** happen on a track and if you worry about body or any other types of damages, you will not be able to concentrate on driving.
I saw too many peoples that wreck their daily driver on a track and they were not prepared, nor willing to accept it.
Bottom line,to have peace of mind, you need to write off you car before you go to the track and if nothing happen,it alway will be another time.
ACR Joe is right on.
