Air conditioning revisited

My 1995 RT/10 recently had a failure in the air con. Turned out the the system was losing gas.I located the problem eventually,the return pipe (larger pipe) from the compressor had rubbed against the engine on the right hand side where the take off for the oil cooler protrudes and worn a hole.This car has only done 5000 miles and nothing in the engine bay has been touched.This obviously was an assembly problem when it was built. Has anyone else had this problem and was it a recallable fault. Where can I get this pipe and a drier for the system
