I dont believe the story and it was a mazda so not a huge loss.

I heard about this. Word on the street is that he auto started the car while it was still in gear and it took off scraping a few bikes and a new gt500. He never installed a kill switch which is why it kept going. I dont think it was anybody trying to catch attention, just a case of bad luck. Hopefully this wont ruin Sunday mornings.

No I wasn't there, but Chaz and a couple other guys were.
Edgar sent me a vid clip of the guy swimming in the water by his car.

Had to be an auto start thing gone bad.

I think the Mazda was overwhelmed by the other cars and in an attempt to prove itself, decided it would go swimming. Unfortunately, it did not know how.
