Just did mine and before heads 420 rwhp, after heads 480 rwhp. I already had rockers, headers and smooth tubes with K&Ns. So for the price it was probably not worth it IMHO.

I needed heads any way, but that's another story. Since I needed heads and a new gasket, it was becomming apparent, for me it was a matter of do or don't drive.

Bottom line is 480 rwhp on a gen 1 is kinda nice. Now all I need is a turbo.

Bad_Byte, put the orange stock Gen II injectors on your car and dyno again. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Funny you mention that, I've been contemplating it but have not had time to research. I almost purchased a set off E-Bay the other day but backed off pending my research as to benefit and necessity. I'm running right at 12.8 - 13.0 AFR but I really don't know what my duty cycle is so I'm not sure if I'm close to that 80% range.

So you're suggesting a set of stock Gen II injectors will benefit me in the HP area? How so, if I'm already running the AFR I am?

Okay, maybe not... I'm surprised your AFR isn't leaner. My Gen-1 AFR is right there with the rockers but w/o the headwork. I have one friend who had Gen 1 heads done and he was disappointed. The dyno operator told him his AF was a "little" on the lean side. He borrowed a set of Gen-2 injectors and picked up "tons" of torque and 25 HP (over 500).

If I were you, I would at least borrow some injectors and try it. I think Sean Roe has some takeoffs and would probably loan them out, and give you a good deal if they help you.

I have exact mods as bad byte and identical results. I did the mods only because I needed the gaskets. It was expensive before the exchange programe has begun with others. I think it was like $3500 for the heads. The gen II injectors are guaranteed needed to complete your package BAD BYTE. It was the missing link for me.
