I will be down there on business and know that the Orlando folks sometimes get together at Race Rock Cafe. It is on my list for dinner anyway, but thought it might be fun if there was a "pre-rendezvous" meeting or something while I was there. One of the gentlemen going down there with me owns three Corvettes and has never seen a Viper up close (he bought his last Corvette from a guy who was upgrading to a Viper). Thought it might be amusing if there was anything happening in the area. We will be down there the 23rd through the 26th.
I wish I was there the next week, but no such luck. I will not be able to make any of the Zone rendezvous' this year, nor will most of the Kansas City folks. We scheduled our Richard Petty Viper Experience for the same weekend that was later announced as our Zone event in Chicago. Sigh...
Of course, if anybody is passing through the Kansas City area ANYTIME, be sure to drop me a note. We have stuff going on constantly (three drag race nights every week at local strips). We would be delighted to welcome you into our little "family" here in Heartland.
