Dave Jenkins in San Juan Capistrano owner of Victory Vipers. He has been working on Vipers since they came into existence. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. Someone to proposition maybe.

My new shop has been open 8 months and we are located in
Los Angeles. We have 4 technicians, two of which have been Viper certified from the start. We are involved in all aspects of Viper performance. We also work with a world class fabricator and chasis tuner. I am always open to working with others to improve my business.

Now Larry, you forget about Cali and get that mountain retreat closed ASAP before interest rates go up. Cali is just a bigger Orlando. :) :)

Guys, I am open to discussions about putting a shop here in San Diego. Know that I would not be one to be at the shop, as I have a couple of other businesses I run. So there would be massive amount of creative freedom with whomever I work with. I'm going to meet with John over at West Coast Viper tomorrow and see how that goes. I would rather do something with an established company than start from scratch. Feel free to email me at mcoats(at)gigatechsoftware(dot)com to start some dialog.

Manny. You hit the nail on the head. There is very limited service for Vipers here in San Diego. No independant dealers, and while good service may be obtained at Jack Powell Dodge, there is no independant place to take our snakes. There are lots of Vipers in San Diego, but any service is over an hour away. You would have a captive audience. There are a few Viper experienced individuals living here that would be more than capable of handling the wrenches. Running the business might be a different story. Best of success on any venture you might start.

The closest viper shop is West Coast Viper. They are about 30 mins from me and I live in north county, about 30 mins from downtown, so yeah, nearly an hour for many San Diegans. Once West Coast Viper moves into a bigger facility though, I think they wull be rockin'.

In any event, no deal has been inked yet, so feel free to email me, those of you who want to somehow be a part of this. Will really need some experienced tech guys IF this is done from the ground up.

And those of you with east coast shops, perhaps you are looking to partner up and expand to a new facility here in Cali. Talk to me.
