Anybody use weldwheels on a Viper ?

Looking to get together a set of drag wheels. Need sizes and offsets if anybody has them. tnx Tony

Most people Dragracing with the Viper use Wheels from John Purner, shop # 904 258 0083. www.ccwheel.com

The Drag Race package is a front and rear wheel setup w/ tires 16x10 rear w/ 26x11.5x16 M/Thompson street Et's and a 16 x4.5 front w/ a 26.5 x 3.75 front runner. (It's acually not a real frontrunner, but it has the correct dimensions)
There is even a 16" Slicks from Hoosier available this season.

The price is steep compared to weld or a similar wheel and I had rather have a 15" wheel in the rear....more sidewall to flex. I think I saw $1700 for the Purner drag racing wheels, It looked like wheels only. I will have to check that again. Do you know what backspacing the Purners have? tnx, Tony

1tony1, the 15inch wheels do not have enough clearance to run on a viper. Jerry

It also seems that 6 lug is a rarety too....duh
