Anyone have their ebc pad come loose

Passenger side ebc brake pad come loose , move forward about 1cm and makes a mild grinding noise while in motion. Does this mean the pad is broken or can they just replace the old one

Remove the 2 pins on the brake caliber where they hold the brale pad spring in place and remove the spring. Then you can slide out the pads and have a look at them. You do not need to unbolt the calipers. You have not told us how many miles are on the car,, or the brakes so it is nhard to guess what your problem is. Are the pads worn out?
