Anyone moved the drivers seat further forward?

I've moved many R/T seats forward. You need to remove the "stop rivets" to allow for more forward travel.

Remove the seat from the vehicle and locate the stop rivets on the underside of the seat rails. You'll need to use a grinder of some sort (die grinder works best) to remove the rivets. The seat will provide the extra travel you need for those short legs of yours

we moved the entire seat (94 rt/10) forward by making brackets which bolted to the floor where the seat originally did, and had holes/studs on the brackets about 1 1/2 inches forward of the original.
Worked great (raised the whole works about 1/4 inch).
when we traded the car in, just removed the brackets so it was stock.
the rivet grinding seems easier if it works.

Hey Rick, try this. I am 5'6" on a good day myself and to reach the clutch pedal and depree it all the way i had to slouch. Ted May at Valaya did this for me. i told him that the front bolster of the seat is too high and I'm sitting in a rut. If the bolster was not as high my legs would reach. He took out my seat and bent the back brackets downwards so the seat tilted foward more. I tried it and it was much better but said to Ted I'm still sinking a little. I then saw some foam cushion padding in his shop and suggested we put a square of it on top of the springs right bellow the seat cushion. Now it work great. I don't have to have the seat all the way foward now and can still push the clutch all the way down with no problem. This made driving the car so much better. Took us about an hour. Hope this helps

You can get a seat-relocation kit that moves seat 2" fwd, and maintains OE height.

I found Sean roe's clutch mod link a big, big help in reducing
the long throw of the clutch.
it makes driving the car a lot more pleasurable.
I figure I have to depress the clutch about half what I used to.
this making shifting quicker.
And the hard to find comfortable spot a little easier to find.

Also if I recall correctly it was cheap (by viper standards)
around $25

try it trust me your will be glad you did, I sure am..
