Are warranties transferrable?

I am looking at yet another car and it apparently is still under warranty under the original 7 year 70,000 warranty. Are these warranties transferrable to me if I buy the car? Additionally, are the warranties voided by modifications such as a borla exhaust?

If you are going to be the second owner then yes. I think they charge you around $50 or $100 to transfer.

Tator's right. The 7/70 was not on my 01 GTS. Original owner only for the free factory 7/70 powertrain.

I sent you a PM. I too am looking at an 02 with the 7/70 and would also like to extend that one for a few more years if possible say to like a 10/70. Thanks.
