I have seen and archived previous posts on breaking in Arrow Rebuild. I found stuff that's all over the place. My engine will ship out of Arrow in 1 Week. I would like to know exactly what procedure I should take. Maybe Sean or JohnB have a recommendation. I plan on getting the pre-luber, but I want break-in correctly. Considering it's not a new block? and on the dyno already, I am a little mystified. Thanks

When I got my motor back from Arrow I broke the car in according to the new car procedure, 1,000 mile period, doing the 2,500rpm till 200 miles, 3,000 rpm till 400 miles and so on. When I posted this question over a year ago this was the consensus I got.

Instructions will come with engine. Mine was laying on the front seat when I picked up the car. Pretty much mimics the latest Viper break in procedures.

So how do you explain that Arrow dyno's the engine for several hours, and runs it fast enough to get a complete torque / HP profile but you must run the engine as per some break-in procedure (ah.. which I will follow to the letter condidering the fact they tell me to.. :!
