Automatic behind the V10?! Elighten me please?

I have a Gen II engine for my project (not a Viper) and may be going to gen IV instead. That aside. I was trying to find out info on a auto trans that will go behind the V10.

i do not have a T56 yet, no flywheel, no bell housing or anything.

I was looking into an auto trans for consistency.

I have found a few threads about it but the information just isnt there for a swap. I have read some guys running GM 2speed and 3speed autos.


I understand that a GM trans will work with an adapter plate, converter adapter and custom flywheel. I cant find them anywhere and ATF will only sell it as a kit with trans.

Is there a Chrysler trans that bolts up?
CAn I use the RAM V10 auto flywheel?

You can get the SRT-10 truck in an auto configuration. not sure how big the tranny is but it uses the same engine.

Check with Woodhouse Dodge as they have done a couple automatic Viper conversions for owners with physical disabilities - using Chrysler/Mopar products all the way.
