I have an honest question about drag racing and I'm not trying to stir up any shiite.
It is mostly accepted that running Vipers with automatics against six speeds in a drag race should not be in the same class because one racer is manually shifting the gears and the other has the transmission doing it for them. I understand the logic there.
What I don't understand is the logic that allows a Viper with traction control (where the computer is basically modulating the power for the driver) to be considered in the same class with Vipers where the driver is having to modulate the power with his right foot.
Can someone splain the logic for me here, Lucy?
Thanks
