Hello All,
I have recently purchased a Mopar SRT 5" Monster Tacho / Shiftlight unaware that it has to be recalibrated for a v10.
I wrote to autometer and this was their reply -
" purchase a #9117tachometer adapter. Cut the brown/white wire at each coil pack and join the two cut halves on the coil side to the red/green adapter. Send the tachometer in to be calibrated for a 10 cyl/ 5 pulse and upon arival hook the green tach wire to the gray at the adapter."
I am not too familiar with this kind of stuff so i need to know - Should I do this - is it an easy job - or will it screw things up.
Thanks for your comments.
Kalani.
