I posted about this over in the General Forums as a reply to Mopar Steve's thread, but thought I'd put it here as well:
Through a mutual friend, I've been in touch with the person in charge of ticket sales, and car corrals for the Baltimore Grand Prix. I've been told by him that the car corrals are basically full, but he really would like to have some Vipers there. So if I can generate interest to get a few cars, he will make room in the corral for us. Below are the packages and the prices, there is no minimum number of cars needed, whatever we get, we get. However, I believe about 8 to 10 Vipers at this time is about all they can accommodate (may be less as the race gets closer). I had planned on going, and taking both cars, but I just learned that I must be out of town that weekend so I will be unable to make it.
  1. Fri/Sat/Sun w/vehicle admission - $250
  2. Fri/Sat/Sun w/out vehicle admission - $200
  3. Fri/Sat w/vehicle admission - $150
  4. Fri/Sat w/out vehicle admission - $110
  5. Sunday only w/vehicle admission - $150
  6. Sunday only w/out vehicle admission - $115
Assets included with Car Corral Ticket:
  • (1) seat in the Car Corral Grandstand located inside the track, GS-20, at turn 11
  • (1) parking pass in the car corral (if relative)
  • (1) paddock pass
  • access to whatever hospitality is provided in the relative corral
So, for example to take you, a guest, and your Viper for a full 3 day pass would cost $450. Not a bad deal.

Here's the link to the track: http://baltimoregrandprix.com/track.cfm

I've also been informed that car corral sales will either be discontinued this friday the 12th, or friday the 19th at the latest.

Contact me if you want to purchase, and I can set it up.

I just sent an email out to the VA/MD club with info on attending the GP and the Viper Corral. You will need to contact the sales person mentioned in the email directly and send in your payment directly to the GP organizers. Spaces in the corral are limited and will be sold first come, first serve. The pricing is as Gus posted above.

I just received this from Jason, looks like the Fri/Sat option is sold out:

Good afternoon,

Car Corral tickets with vehicle admission include a parking space in the Car Corral Paddock which is right next to the ALMS Paddock. Car Corral tickets with out vehicle admission are essentially for passengers or guests of those corralling their cars in the car corral. They include the exact same assets except for the parking space in the corral. There is a designated grandstand between turns 10 and 11, inside the track that is labeled as grandstand 20 or the Car Corral Grandstand. Only Car Corral participants will have access to GS 20.

In very limited quantity, this is what we have available:

* Fri/Sat/Sun Car Corral with vehicle admission ticket - $250
* Fri/Sat/Sun Car Corral without vehicle admission - $200
* Sunday Car Corral with vehicle admission - $150
* Sunday Car Corral without vehicle admission - $115

Your Car Corral credential comes with the following:

* (1) parking space in the car corral, if relative
* (1) credential good for admittance into the Car Corral Grandstand
* (1) Paddock Pass
* access to whatever hospitality your relative club/corral may provide
* potential parade laps depending on availability as established by BGP Director of Operations

If you're interested in purchasing Car Corral tickets, please let me know what you'd like, as soon as possible. Make your check out Baltimore Racing Development and send it to the address below.

Thank you,

I just got off the phone with JasonSchiavoni(corral organizer) and he told me the same. No more Fri/Sat option.

I reluctantly purchased the whole shabang as i only want to attend Fri/Sat.
However, There is a separate ticket for each day so Jason said that it would be no prob if i left Sat night and let another car/driver park in the corral and use my sunday ticket.

Funny, I can only go Sat/Sun.... wish they had that option but don't so I have to get the whole package as well. So if someone wants a Friday I will be selling mine.

In other words: I have an extra ticket for the car corral/event seating/paddock access for SUNDAY
$100 bucks takes it.:money:(thats a savings of $50):)

I'm going, I got my ticks back the week they went on sale around xmas, I've got seats in GS8, ticks are for Fri-Sun, taking the fam down, looks like the corral thing is not working out. But as we get closer let's see if anyone going can touch base, love to grab a beer or burger with some viper guys.
