Yes, you can hook up a battery tender at the jumping posts under the hood. You can als0 use a tender via the cigarette lighter. It is always hot, and saves you having to open and close the hood.

If you use the Deltran Battery Tender, you can hook the O-ring terminals to your jump start post and ground on the left side of the engine compartment. With their quick connector, all you have to do is reach in the left side hood opening to connect and disconnect -- you don't have to open the hood. I've used a Deltran unit for a year, and it's worked fine for me.

I have done the same set up as Ron suggests. I put an inline fuse in too. I ran the wires from the jump stud points to just inside the small body panel below the wing-mirror. I just tuck it inside this panel when not in use.

Ulysses - Deltran makes the cigarette lighter adapter that you are looking for, and it will connect to your charger. It is a motorcycle product. Call them on: 904-736-7900,Joe - tech. Or, you can make one with the permanent lead set that came with the charger. Simply buy a lighter plug from Radioshack and wire it in yourself.

Thanks Jerry,

I like the last option the best (boy that was obvious, I could kick myself in the head). I checked Deltran's website and they have a part number but no price so my guess is that it's pricey for a cigarette lighter plug. Thanks again.
