Ok, I just spent 4 hours cleaning and detailing the Viper. I used a clay bar and did have very nice results. But I still cannot remove all the tiny tire fragments and other contaminates from the rear of the vehicle. Especially on the white stripes below the hatch. The clay bar helped but not quite enough. My next step will be to buy a porter cable.

But before that anyone have something that works really well. Does denatured alcohol work? Or Vinegar?

And anybody have a good solution for hard water stains etched into the side mirror glass, and side windows.

Thankyou for the ideas.

vinager is good for the hard water, use a newspaper and will leave no streaks.

On the residue, I use a mild polish and work my way up to rubbing compound.

Try one of these ideas.

1. Windshield washer fluid concentrate

2. Bounce! Yes the dryer sheet, just add water.

Both work for me. Dryer sheet works great for removing bugs.
