Blown motor - what do I do now: Part 2

got the motor in tonight
thanks to Viperfever for his help again

I hope to have it running by tuesday - lets pray for good weather

It's alive!

got it started tonight and it runs great
the oil pressure is 40+ at idle and the temps were normal
no leaks or issues

now the tuning begins

Tim You have had your doubts and more Viper issues than one person should.
However you have come away from this experience along with me with a better understanding and knowledge of the Viper platform. Your motor looks great and I'm sure will be VERY powerful. So get that baby tuned you still have a few weeks to drive and I'm sure you'll be Happy congrats . Carl

Thanks again Carl for all your help the past 4 months
I could not have done it without your help

I have no doubt I will be happy with the power for awhile and will look forward to putting in a fully built motor in the future
I will always have that knowledge of the cast pistons nagging me
at the first hint of detonation I'll be sure to get out of it

I think w/m will be my next big project, maybe even this winter
