RedSnakeGTS:

Technically he is not wrong by putting a Copra on a Viper Hood. A Viper is a type of snake which has venom so Cobra Rattler, Diamond Back and these types of snakes are all in the Viper family. While an Anaconda would not be considered a Viper.

Not to "rattle" anybody's cage, but...

Technically speaking:
Viper, short for viperidae, is of the family Viperidae, which is specifically comprised of venomous snakes whose fangs fold up against the roof of their mouth, such as rattlesnakes, copperheads, and cottonmouths, to name a few.

The cobra is not a viper. The cobra is of the family elapidae, which is specifically comprised of venomous snakes whose fangs are fixed in place, such as cobras, kraits, and coral snakes, to name a few.

That is the true technical aspect of a viper, and an example of a snake that is not a viper.

Generally speaking:
Viper can mean any venomous snake. But it does have at least be a venomous snake.

Thus concludes The Viper Hour.

This is Daffy Duck Viper, bidding you all a fond farewell, and wishing you a fun-filled day of happy Vipering!!! *grin*
