I thought that it looked like the ViperMania top without the optional scoop. I figured an owner might chime in.

For sure not factory. It doesn't look like the vipermania I had on my '95 either...

anyone think it could it be from Northwind Engineering?

the hardware looks nothing like the factory setup & i cant figure out how it would even fasten in the back

I don't think it is. I have a Northwind Engineering roof and it has totally different mounting hardware.

it looks like it has rear clips like the softtop and may not require removal of the sportbar like the Mopar top.

It could be Vipermania.. (but if it is it's an early version)... Mine sat on top of the sport bar (as this one does)and was secured with thumbscrews from inside along with neat little coat hanger brackets. My Vipermania top had rubber window seals along the sides and a black (plastic?) liner. It also had a much better looking rubber seal across the front that never leaked and lever handles to secure the front, similar to the later factory soft top....

Are you sure that came off a Gen 1?

Nothing looks like it matches up. Mounts, window seals, front seal... odd

This will be interesting. If it is a Viper top, I bet it is either a prototype or very early version.

I was told it came off a Gen 1 but they may be wrong. The seller is a car dealer clearing out some old inventory.

It's surprising that nobody on here has seen one like it before, could possibly be a prototype

hey Phil, no not yet. this top would be for my father's '94.

I came close to buying that 99 GTS I showed you in the fall but the buyer wouldn't budge a penny on the price. hopefully soon though, I've been looking a bit more recently.
