What Gen Tonneau Cover is this?

This was sold to me as a gen 1. It doesn't appear to have the correct attachments. There are no rivets for the top of the dash, and the door attachments seem wrong. According to my owners manual, the door attachments should be identical to the side curtains. This cover has some strange curved plastic pieces. Can someone please identify this cover? Thanks, Joe.

Hmm, aftermarket maybe? The only other option is a gen 2 roadster as they didn't make tonneau covers after that. I could see the sides sliding down into the window channel on a gen 2, but not sure how they would hold the front on without the snaps.

I seem to recall that the later G2 covers had a bendable stiffener rod that held tight against the base of the windshield and no, or fewer snaps. Can anyone else confirm, or deny this? JonB would know.

My ‘93 has the rivets / poppers on the dash & the black tonneau fits into the side window fittings & I think there’s another that fits into the seatbelt clip

You have a G2 Tonneau not a G1. Take a look at this G2 on ebay, among the pictures are the install instructions. You'll see how the installation is different on a G2 than your G1. If you can't get you $$ back, list it on FB or ebay. Good luck, Mike
