I organized this event, and it was a BLAST! We raced the RSI White Mamba against an F-16 in full afterburner and the car won by about a 10th! This car is absolutly amazing and Gerald and the gang did a wonderful job.

RSI is a class act and I would really like to thank them for all their work and bringing a bullet-proof car. If anyone is looking to blow or turbo a car, check these guys out first.

I want to thank everyone at Cannon AFB. Its amazing how hard these people work, and we were treated like kings. What a GREAT group of people.

I would also like to thank the Sargent that posted these pics. I was looking for him to give him a ride, but we never hooked up. Next time for sure.

We also ran a Comp Coupe, and it also won with the F-16 in military power.

I plan on posting a full story on this event as soon as I get some rest!

Chris, I apologize for not being able to meet up with you. At any rate the Vipers stole the show and the only thing missing was the new coupe. Here are a few more pics:

.......it was awesome watching the RSI TT Viper beat the F-16.

To the tune of .2 seconds in the half mile: Jet 17.0X seconds, RSI TT - 16.9 seconds.

How fast?

"Officially = 185 mph"

but really, they ran 194 mph. (Couldn't let the jet win :) )

The day before in testing, they ran over 200 mph..... The event coordinators felt that 200+ was not safe, and a thus the lower 185 mph "limit" was set (and required RSI use the stock run-flats street tires too). 200mph+ in only a half mile.... awesome... 194mph on run flats in a half mile, unreal.

PS: Jet still lost even when running after-burners... that was the 17.0X second time!

Hats off to RSI.

Yea I have to say that the whole event was a blast! I was supposed to have raced the 16 but RSI received the nod. They did an oustanding job! I was still able to go down the runway at 185 plus, was only able to go down once. Special thanks to Chris and Shelia what an awesome job you guys did!! :headbang:
