CARFAX....accuracy ??? Don\'t think so....
Last week I spent an evening running vin# of many cars I have owned in the last 15 years or so mainly to see where they were at this point in time.....about half of them came up with erroneous information....mainly title info and damage info was wrong....anyone else ever check out their old cars to verify accuracy...I was NOT IMPRESSED with the job it did....one car I had owned had extensive damage and it didn't show anything....another car had moderate damage, again NOTHING...what gives ....is it worthwhile, dependable etc etc....all of my cars have been commercially titled cars for many years, again NOTHING on most of them...they are titled as RENT-A-CARS and CARFAX only showed this on a few of the cars....
