cat delete and O2 sim

I have an '02, and about 2000 miles ago I deleted my cats. I bought a set of o2 simulators and installed them today.

My problem is the engine light didn't go out. I was under the assumtion it would. What do I need to do to correct this.

Did you try to clear the code? THe code has to be cleared before itll stay out. Go to any AutoZone, Advance Auto, etc and they can do it for free for you

Thats what i figured. Is that true that AutoZone will do it for free? If so thats GREAT news. Thanks!
