Regarding LA,
I drive every day wondering how in hell there is so much
visible smog when all I see is natural gas buses and
Benzes/Beemers/Lexus' that basically inhale more polluted air
than what comes out the tailpipe. L.A. is a horrible example
for pollution. The topography is bad enough that someone's
Duraflame log will pollute enough to cover the city for a couple
of days.
On the bright side, there are no volcanos. If a volcano ever erupted, it would basically cancel out all the pollution savings made by the state of California for 50 years or so. (I'm not sure about that one, could be the whole U.S.)
