Say Venom:

I'd advise going w/ the Roe set.
1. Much better price
2. Simple install - glue
3. Non-metalLic and can't "hook up" onto whatever object you've run over when you "back off" (causing more damage than the first mistake).
4. Sean now has a guard that snaps over the length of the lowest edge of the bottom "lip" (wish I could describe it better for you) included in the set.
5. Sean's a Viper owner/VCA member and a nice guy!

I originally installed the metal chin guard(painted) and it did do a pretty good job,however,I switched to Roe's system and am much happier with the looks and performance.

Here is the bumper guard and strip to protect lowest edge on the bumper. This is for '97 and newer.

Can't go wrong for $25 comes in black or white. You do not need to paint it since you don't see it.
