Christmas came early!

I'm a happy bunny. Got the car back and had it tuned this morning. Chicago is in the mid 90's with mega humidity so its arguably not the best day to dyno tune but I couldn't wait any longer.

Local tuner Albert D put the thing together and got the A/F looking good and making decent numbers despite the weather!

Gotta go burn some gas and sweat my butt off in the driver's seat this afternoon!

Glad to see you got her done. Looks strong. I assume you went with the VEC2 as previously discussed? What were your corrected numbers considering the high temp. and humidity? Enjoy!

D-Dog, yes VEC 2. SAE numbers were 525/552. Might have squeezed a little more out of it as numbers were still climbing with changes in spark, but it seemed to run very well and consistently so we quit there.

That's solid for bullet proof NA power. Unless you run into a SC/TT car there isn't much out there to worry about. I'm still thinking about adding a 200 HP shot of nitrious for a little extra kick for special occasions.

Thanks. Heads, cam, exhaust and VEC2. Albert Dashto (Des Plaines, IL) opened up the intake runners, port matched it to the heads that have big valves, manley springs and 1.7s, John H's headers and a bunch of small stuff like smooth tubes, cat delete, Fidanza flywheel etc etc.

I'm really impressed with the dead-flat A/F Albert was able to achieve with the VEC2. Check it out, its amazing - and needless to say it didn't start out that way.

The cool thing about the NA power....you always have it. Someone with a 200 shot will see me in their rear view mirror but if we run long enough I'll catch up!

Since I recommended Al,
The "BOYS" were sweating extra today,
till you ran a good #. I'd guess 20 degrees
cooler you could tune it to 550rw.
