Chrome intake tubes

Has anyone tried this set of chrome intake tubes from theViperStore.com? If so are they any good?

Haven't tried them but they do look sweet. Use some better clamps than in the pic above if you do go with them.

I am not so sure that metal intake tubes are a good idea. We want as cool an intake charge as we can get and metal/chrome intake tubes will absorb heat and transfer the heat to the intake charge.

They are pretty though.

I agree they are pretty and shiny, but since they are chrome, they are going to hold heat more and you'll be sucking in hot air. My $.02-buy silicone tubes

I bought these on ebay and to tell you the truth I was disapointed. They are made out of plastic. For the price I paid for them I was expecting them to be steel.
