Clearing Codes ?

On a '94, how do clear a code that shows up in the self diagnostic display? In my case, a 1-4 showed up and I put a new map sensor on, disconnected the battery, but the code is still there.

How long did you have the battery unhooked for?

I disconnected the batttery up front and held the pos and neg together for about 30 seconds.

Leave it unhooked for about 30 minutes, no need to hold the positive and negative together! 30 sec isn't long enough I don't think.
