Clutch Chatter?? What\'s happening?

Went to the ViperDays Mid-America yesterday with the KC VCA and they let us on the track for a short time to play just a little. When I got back to the parking area, whenever I tried to ease the clutch out in first or reverse, it chattered pretty bad. Sounded like something coming loose under the car and the sounds were those of a loose driveline or clutch. Not an expert here, so anyone? Car has 2400 miles and is an 01.

Frank -

Apparently you overheated the clutch causing hot spots or some warping. Put some easy miles on the car. It may eliminate or reduce the chatter, especially if it's just from slight glazing.
BTW. Do you have an aluminum flywheel?

Curious as to why you asked about the aluminum flywheel. Warpage issue if overheated?

Thanks! </FONT f>
