I just got my first Viper. A 2008 VVO coupe. I’m working some bugs out and have a dumb question.

The clutch pedal has normal feel and travel. But I noticed that it will pop up further than normal when releasing it hard.

I can actually pull the pedal up with my hand. I would think there would be a spring or some other type of stop on the upside? or is this normal?
thx
Tom

Not sure if the gen 4 would be any different, but I know on my gen 3 there is a decent bit of play at the top of the travel. I can sit there and tap it with my foot and make it bounce with basically no pressure. I agree with you that I would have expected a very soft spring or something, but the gen 3 at least also seems to have a very long throw, so maybe they couldn't get a spring that would compress enough. Never seems to hurt anything, but it did always strike me as odd.
