Trying to remove the transmission in order to change clutches. In the manual it mentions to disconnect the clutch hydraulic line disconnect using a special tool.

Anyone know how to do this without a special tool. I have excellent access as it is on a lift in the garage.

The car is a 95 RT/10.

You will see a white coller where the clutch line enters a black coupling. You can take a pair of needle nose pliers and push the white coller towards the black connecter while doing this push the braided line towards the black connector also then pull the braided line back away from the trans. The white coller acts as a release for the retaining device in the black connector. It is much easier than it sounds.
