First time! And, I feel guilty.

I didn't mean to ride the clutch. The release is a little longer than the C6 Z06 I traded for the Viper. :(

Grunt,

It is far to easy to slip the clutch when doing a burn out and it will smoke the clutch a little bit. You should have done no harm as long as you do not make a habit of it. As far as durability Chuck Tator told me at last years tech session that he will no longer install any clutch except the stock one.

It's pretty durable but I shreded one ;) Like the others said, a whiff of clutch wont hurt but you should try not to let it happen...let that clutch out quicker.

It does engage pretty high in the Gen III and it is easy to screw up. You really have to think about letting it all the way out. Fortunately, the OE Luk clutch is pretty durable at stock power levels.

Not so durable when you make bigger power.
