Corsa\'s installed
The install was pretty straight forward. My car had 80 miles prior to installation and the original exhaust came off fairly easily. I didn't have a problem with the sill screw by each door hinge, they were not installed at the factory. After removing each sill I noticed that the paint had never been touched by a screw and washer in those two spots.
I did the installation in my shop with jackstands and had plenty of room to maneuver the exhaust in and out. I continue to think that the middle pipes could be a little longer. The tips are a piece of art. I did learn that the clamps must be tightened all the way or exhaust leaks are inevitable.
The sound outside is louder and a little truckish. The sound inside is fairly quiet with no drone! Backing off the throttle at any speed is music to the ears. I'm sure a lot of throttle is nice too, but I'm not there yet due to break-in.
I think HF Cats are in the picture, but I need to find the flex pipe piece from the factory manifold back to the cat so that I don't have to cut my original flex pipe and cat. If you know of a place to get the two pipe pieces at a fair price, please let me know. I also installed tubes and filters at the same time.
Thanks to the "how to section" for exhaust intall tips.
