I was on 378 the other day in Columbia about 1/2 a mile from downtown. I just filled up with gas and a corvette sees me as he passes. I read his license plate, "Big O." I get behind him, and he spins his tires from the red light. Next redlight he whips into the other lane to get beside me. I didn't look over until he started waving to me, looks down the street and points. All of this is ok, but I could see the next redlight which was about 300 yards down the stretch with traffic sittting at it. And cops love to run radar on 378 and will pull you if you look at them wrong. Adding all the factors I had to decline and told him "You are too fast for me, buddy (Dumb@ss)." Do corvettes owners (not all of course) really feel like they have to prove that their car is faster than a Viper?
