At the v-10 nationals, I saw an earlier model rt/10 with some type of tint on the head lamp and fog lights. It looked real good. How did you do this? Was it a spray on type application?

There is a spray painty kind of stuff made by, I think, VHT. I think it is supposed to be used for tailights. If memory serves me, it is called Night Shades.

Ill tell you what if you in fact do this to the rear lights make sure you leave the third brake light alone because it is very hard to see the brake lights light up in the daytime.

Why would you want to reduce the lumens of your headlights? It is a spray on tint.

I don't drive my car too much at night if I can avoid it and most places I go it's lighted anyways. I just thought is looked good with silver.

I'm not sure about FL, but its very illegal here in DE.. nothing can obstruct the headlights, even in daylight...

A friend of mine used the Night Shade on his black C5 Corvette. He had a friend blend the Night Shade in a 50/50 mix with clear coat. We applied it to all the rear and side lenses and it came out great. What were bright red brake lights and clear reverse lights now have an awesome "tint" to them. I can't speak for a Viper, but the Corvette brake lights are still highly visible during the day.

The way the lenses came out they still look more red than black. They are just a very dark red now, and the reverse lights look smoked. IMO, it was a great mod for the price and changed the character of his car.

Adam, you may have seen Pete's red 95. He mixed clear coat with some black much like what Brett mentioned. If you want Pete's email let me know.
