I am sorry to report that today a 2000 RT/10 creampuff has died. It all started last fall as a simple warranty issue, but as time progressed a terrible sickness began to consume the RT. It started in the intake area and spread from there. It quickly moved to the heads and down the exhaust system. For a time it was thought that it was taking over the fuel system, but Rick was able to limit its effect for now, how long this will last is anyone’s guess. As the sickness spread, it was shocking to see how quickly the stock clutch and fly wheel fell to it. It continued to spread from the fly wheel to the rest of the drive train effecting everything. As the sickness took hold the RT’s temperature increased beyond the capacity of the radiator, and it failed. As all this was taking place I had to sit a 1000 miles away pacing the floor every night thinking about where it will go next. I know many of you would say that I should have been there with the car, but I could not. What I did know, is that Rick Maxwell and Mark Jorgenson of Woodhouse were working long hours and doing their best to keep up with the spreading sickness. So, thanks to their great effort and skill, I still have a car to drive. It is a very different car from what it was but it does run and is much stronger from the experience.
703 rwhp/ 735 rwtq on a mustang dyno

So don’t despair, when the sickness of Modification strikes just remember hang on and go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :2tu:

Thanks Rick and Mark :headbang:

Oh man! You have an acute case of "Mod Fever". Take two laps around the track and call Jon B. in the morning!
