Difference between GEN 1&2 cam sensor

I'm in the process of putting a GEN 1 motor into a 68 Satellite. I have been in contact with Haltech regarding their Platinum ecu for the odd-fire V10. They have one working on a GTS and are willing to help me to get it to work on a GEN 1. The only issue I know of is the cam sensor. Is it the sensor different or is it the cam gear (trigger) that is different? I'm pretty sure that the TPS, crank sensor, ignition and fuel (and their operation) are the same on the two.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
