Does Purners make the new split 5 spoke in 18\'s ?

Looking for an 18" wheel for everyday and track use that I can run the new 18" BFG Drag Radials on.
Have the new 19" Purners on my one car now. Do they make those in 18's ?

I dont think so..only in 19"s

Not likely, due to tooling costs. I have the 19's though and was worried about ride quality and performance issues but found that due to reduced weight and much truer runout on Johns product versus stock, the 19's actually rode better than stock and the if I remember the total weight was just about even(even with additional tire weight). After the first drive, I never thought about it again except to admire the rolling image in storefront reflections!

Oh, sorry, I missed the original post when first viewing. Yes track tires are an issue, how about the ssr's that Jon B sells?

If you like the deep-dish look like the Purner's your best bet may be the 18" VR-1's.

The wheels themselves obviously look just like the 19's, but I haven't seen a picture of them on a car yet. It would be interesting to see two cars side by side with the two sizes.
