Does the 96 GTS have a forged bottom end?

I love the 96 GTS with the blue/white paint scheme, now I am in the market to buy one and I plan to supercharge it.

I can't remember if the 96 had a forged bottom end or not, I thought it did.

yeah, I know the feeling! If you talk about washing your car..you will get tons of responses, you talk about how many stares do you get in your viper...ten times more responses, but when you as specs or technical stuff...you get well...

ha! ha! It's all fun though.

a blanket question,by the way pistons are not bottom end parts.

Yes. And you don't really give up much in the way of improvements on the newer models, other than ABS, which was added in '01.
