Does this ever happen to you?

When running the car hard (like at a track event) whenever I put the hood up after a run (to let stuff cool down) the hood alignment gets funky.....hard to close.

I can leave the hood up for a week when its cold and no problem, but when its hot just a few minutes will make it really hard to line up for a closing.

Is this unique to my springs or do others have the same issue?

dont track mine but did run it very hard very often and never noticed that problem.

The only time I've had a hood problem was at the GA-VCA Christmas party last year. Had the hood opened for maybe 2-3 hours? When we went to leave, I "tucked" both upper edges down (near the doors) like I always do and went to shut the hood as normal. The RH upper edge of the hood popped up 3 different times when I tried shutting the hood?? Another GA-VCA member got it shut and never had the problem again. Still dont know why it acted stupid then.
