What manufacturer are the door mirrors off, I take it they arent made espicially for the viper ?

One of our GTS members met another car down a lane, folding the right hand mirror in, only damage is broken glass and the plastic trim behind it which holds the glass in place. He doesnt seem able to buy just these parts, from the usual suppliers

He heard the may be off a early Mitsubishi 3000GT

Yes, Mitsubishi or also the twin, Dodge Stealth.

The mirrors off of any stealth or 3000GT will work however:

- the riser post (as well as the black plastic gasket) on the Viper is different and must be swapped out. (These are rarely broken)

- Mirrors that are heated (with the defrost symbol etched in the glass) have a 5 wire plug instead of the standard 3 wire plug for the Viper....

You could always put prowler mirrors on like my friend did. They are smaller and sleeker looking.....

the mirror was installed today, as you guys stated it is a mitsubishi part, when the guy took it apart (he only used the glass) inside hidden was matching part numbers identical to the OE dodge mirror
