Any of you drag specialists, can anyone advise of the best slicks and specific size of tire to maximize traction for the 1/4 mile. I have a 2k ACR with the OEM 18" rims and would like to put a set of slicks on for a match race with a couple of friends. Also what is the best recommended tire pressure for stock tires for drag raceing.
Thanks for any help.

The drag radials (18 inch) really are quite impressive, but if you are looking for that extra tenth ot 2 then you need to get a set of Purners with ET streets.

If you are going to use drag radials or stock tires, get your rear tire pressure down to around 18 psi. Go as low as you are comfortable without worrying about the tires coming off the wheels. I got .4 sec better times when going from 28 psi to 18 psi on consecutive runs.
