DRAGRACERS!!!!!!!??????

Hi guys, got a question 'bout the T56 trannys we have. How bad can ya pound on them when draggin'??? Had a club member grenade 2nd gear couple weeks ago bangin' into 2nd. Chalk it up to a crappy shift or what???? These trannys just don't seem to wanna shift smoothly when yer gettin' on them..... Any input?????

Actually the trans on my '94 shifted smoother than the one on this 2002...

Best ET with that was 12.12.. (with stock ex manifolds)

I have found that if you don't push the clutch all the way in it will bang the gears a bit

Same here. 95 RT/10 shifted much better than '03.

I never power shift mine now. My old car with 500 less hp I did. It depends on your power...

Sounds like his hand is faster than his foot, I have made many runs in the last 3 1/2 years with no problems.

My 94 shifts great! No problems what-so-ever. Could it be the driver not pushing the clutch pedal all the way down?
